You get to Upgrade you do not get a copy of Windows 10 for free.
No one that needs Assistive Technologies will be harmed or inconvenienced in any way.
A lot of 7-8 users are waiting for updated/compatible drivers or SW many have had their Windows auto updated only to find SW not working or deleted. HTPC systems that used Windows Media Center rendered non-working overnight for example.
MS wants as many Upgrades as they can get, of course they set a deadline to encourage users to switch. One update even had four Windows 10 files in the list of recommended.
Can we stop trying to make everything into a moral dilemma issue. Plenty of people purchased PCs with upgrade to 10 options but have not acted on that option now they still can. This is really such a non-issue just 'let it go'.
