Looks like they will be ready in 4 to 5 months from now.

Mike has addressed this on his new site:

Q: If I place an order, how long until I get my playfield ?

A: Fathom was an 11-month process. That will not happen again. With
ramp-up on the new equipment, the CPR debut playfield (Centaur)
turnaround should be 4-5 months (including a month or two for IPB to
collect pre-orders), and all playfields after that should be 3-4 months
(including a month or two for collecting orders). The important part is
making your desire KNOWN that you want a playfield ordered - getting on
the demand list being collected by Illinois Pinball Company. All dates
for open ordering and order cutoffs will be posted here at our site.
See our Order page to find out how to make your order for any current
production(s).

Good luck with this venture, we need it to succeed, I don't care if
this is in the U.S. or not, Canada is close enough! I think I'll go
learn the national anthem of Canada! Go Canada! Go CPR! Yeah!!!!

Egads! When I saw all that cabinet artwork in the IPB photos I had to
stop and wipe the drool off my keyboard :).....Ok I'm good now. Best
of luck in your new venture!

Agreed, I think I'll even learn the language too! Very Great news, hope
the complainers don't try to destroy this too.

I agree that seeing all of that pinball stuff is pretty cool. I would
say, though, that after viewing the inside of their warehouse, I am not
surprised that IPB has such a difficult time with their parts business.
Those pictures show what looks like late 1970's parts distribution
practices, and a poor execution of those to boot. It is really a
shame, they could be so much more effective than they are today.

no, not "Go Canada"... it's "Oh Canada"

OMG I would love a Centaur playfield, but I DO NOT LIKE THIS LINE ON
THE WEBSITE:

CENTAUR REPRODUCTION PLAYFIELD

Deluxe Edition with pro 6-Coat DuPont clearcoat

$500.00
thru the Illinois Pinball Company

I dont trust IPB at all!

I agree, my thoughts exactly. No wonder its so hard to get parts. What
a piss poor distribution practice. That place is a freaking mess, and I
beleive he is either lazy or just doesnt care, or both. Someone ought
to show him how toyota logistics works. That place is freaking spotless
and every art is clearly labeled with bin and location number as well
as part number etc. Also has descriptions of the parts on the tags.

He really needs to get with the program.

Or not get one, as the case maybe. IPB seems to loose orders, take
money and not deliver goods. They seem to be one of the biggest
screwups out there.

Wonder if distributors such as PBR will buy PF's to sell? Id really
trust a distributor rather than IPB.

I'd pay it knowing one, Id get the part and #2 Id actually get my money
back if I didnt get the part. Steve's (PBR) business practices are spot
on!

You made the statement that I have accepted money without shipping out
the requested parts. If this has happened I would greatly appreciate
the names of me the customers that are waiting for parts so that I can
rectify the situation.
If you would rather not post the names on RGP an e-mail can be sent to:

The problem is, that is the only way you will get one!

Perhaps, I think there would be a markup of some sort, but if you're
willing to pay it, I don't see a problem.

IPB has helped me out with a few parts I've needed in the past, and I've
been grateful. I might feel a little different if I'd paid for a BBB and
not recieved it yet, but since I didn't, I can't really comment on that.

Kim,

I have a question ...

Why doesn't IPB improve its communications?

You had Jeff working on the web site and things were getting better for
like 3 days and then everything fell off the end of the earth again

Why don't you just explain to everyone exactly what IPB is doing and
wants to do and how you are going to go about getting there?

What happened to the pre-order stuff on the FH playfields and the cloud
toppers and the ramps?

When will this stuff be shipped? Why does it take so long?

I ordered a Cylcone ramp from the guys at Bearcave and I am still
waiting and I will probably be waiting for a long time to come. I
didn't pay, but they confirmed the order and said it was ready to ship
and then all communication ended

Basically, Gary wants someone to regularly post a company blog.
