You'll need administrator permission to move this folder

I was trying to move an application out of a Winrar .zip but it gave me this error. I looked on the web and couldn't find a a solution that worked, I tried going into properties>security but when I looked under my account, the Microsoft one. (Also permissions are the same for "System" as well "Administrators (BriansPC/Administrators)") as It said I have Full Control, Modify, Read and execute, Read, and Write, but no special permissions. Not sure that effects it.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Winrar archives often contain viruses and other malware. What is supposed to be contained in this particular archive?

Where did you get the Winrar file from?

You don`t move it.
You select the rar file and extract.

It creates a folder of the same name.
Look in the folder it created.
And extract the zip file.
Its a compressed twice.
You cannot move a compressed file.
Because its running in winrar.
And any file is part of the file compressed.

then if needed extract again or click on it to open the file contents

Its not a virus and I cant say what the file is.

And I got the file from a my own dropbox, don't know the original place though.

I can move other things out of different winzip files. Also while extracting "Incorrect function.

If you don't know where the file came from, nor what it supposedly contains, then I wouldn't open it. Also, Shaun o is right, you extract a Winrar archive. Do you have 7zip installed?

Google it.

Or you have one.
If that was the extraction path leave the file alone for gods sake.
I`m serious Get some anti virus if you have none.
And scan your system with malwarebytes.

So we are clear. It isn't called "Random.exe". I just put "random" instead of its actual name.

Ok, I don't know what happened I restarted my PC and it worked. Well thanks for the help anyway, it just started working after a restart.
