My method seems to work and is NOT an "add blocker"
I can view most of the web without problems.
Malware Bytes premium with block tracking cookies /malware/scams enabled.
Firefox with default protections enabled.
Ghostery add on for Firefox for the few Malware Bytes misses .
You can choose which sites get completely blocked, which are partially blocked, and sites you do not want to block at all.
well, using an ad blocker on you tube, now prevents the use of you tube completely.

in order to use you tube, you have to allow ads, or use you tube premium.

i hope you tube looses views cause of this...

YT has tried several ways of blocking me thus far, all of which have failed. Now they have me on a timer it would seem. When they throw ad block B.S. in your face, just clear your Google and Youtube cookies then refresh the video page.

Or use a private browsing window and block all cookies.
Or download the video with a program or website.
Or stream the video with a stand alone media player
Or stream the video with a dedicated YT program.

VLC, Power DVD, Jriver can all stream YT.
4K video downloader and Jdownloader2 can of coarse download the video.
FreeTube is a dedicated YT program, you can stream and/or download.

We all do what works for us.

I will watch your ads .But I will not accept the tracking cookies.
I watch and support a couple boat building channels.
And also search for model specific specs for repairing friends/relatives appliances/vehicles .................
Their is a wealth of knowledge and a butt ton load of crap on youtube.
Good/Evil, Yen/Yang, Dark/Light
Be careful where you step.:poop:

Do you have any precedent that your browser status is using ad-blocker is considered "an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person?"
Absolutely, in fact, the JavaScript they (YouTube) use must identify user in order to function ... which is your identifier. It's why I get spam email within seconds of watching a YouTube video on my topic of choice. Fully traceable back to YouTube.

For US law, is very clear ... Civil Rights Act.

There is precedent with CalOPPA. the existence of a cookie policy doesn't guarantee protect even if the user accepts the policy. Just like any other document one may attempt to have a person "accept/sign" doesn't validation the policy as legal. If you believe "notice of consent" is protection against acquisition of personal data, you are mistaken and yes there has been legal precedent in several states (especially California). Suggest you read up on those cases.

Internet lawyer's comment seem like defamation, be careful what waters you step on as I don't know you and you don't know me, but as you can see by my registration date (before yours), I've been around this block from very earlier on.

Now I know you're just trolling. Seriously?

Let's see your cites. You *have* those cites, don't you? And they have to be directly on point, which nothing you've provided has been.
