Hi,
I own an older desktop computer with a Phenom 945 x4 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and an ASUS GTX 560 graphics card with 1 GB of memory. I still use it for rendering, but I experience terrible lag during YouTube playback. Viedeos are not smooth, it's not watchable. I tried to turn off hardware acceleration under 'chrome/flags' but it doesn't help.
Interestingly, it works perfectly on Microsoft Edge.
I also have an older laptop with an i5 2520 processor and integrated HD 3000 graphics, and I don’t have this playback issue at all. Even though it's two years newer than my desktop, its specifications are significantly worse, so it should be even slower.
Does anyone know what might be causing this problem?
thanks
