Hi yesterday I was using my computer as I normally would when the "Asus ez update" program appeared and offered me an update for my z170-e's bios. Not thinking this would have any major effects I accepted as I have done in the past with ez update. My computer restarted then froze on the motherboard screen and after manually restarting it my computer will not post whatsoever. All fans are spinning and it appears to be running fine, but it still won't post.

Any advice or recommendations on how to solve this issue would be appreciated.

Things I have tried (whether they would help or not)
-Moving Ram sticks to different slots
-Removing and reinstalling the cmos battery
-Connecting the Clrtc pins via a metal object to cause a temporary short circuit
-Trying multiple graphical ouputs on my graphics card and motherboard on multiple monitors

Specs:
Intel i5 6600k
CM Hyper 212 evo
Asus Z170-e
Kingston hyperx DDR4 RAM (2x8GB)
Asus Dual OC GTX 1060 6GB
Adata 256GB SSD
Seagate 7200rpm 1TB HDD
Thermaltake 750W Power Supply
NZXT s340
Windows 10 Home

Tried reinstalling the bios using the original support disk, had no luck.
anything else i could try?

And also all my components were in perfect condition before the update so i doubt it is a problem with them.
