So I've never built a pc before, and I'm screwed if it won't work. So I bought a
Asus Z170-A Mobo
Corsair DDR4 (8x2)
I7-6700K
H7 CPU cooler
Zotac GTX 1080

I've read through the whole manual and set everything in its place (according to the manual). Both the graphics card and the motherboard gets a green LED when power is connected, but nothing happens when I turn it on. No fans no nothing. Just dead silence. Hope somebody can help, as it's a lot of money spent *_*

Have you made sure the power button connector is on the right pins ?

Yes I have. The motherboard even has a power button on it. I've tried to press that without the panel connectors in. I've checked multiple times. It should all be in place. Will the mobo not turn on if there is no panel connectors connected? (And sorry coup for down voting ur comment. It was a accident and I can't undo it. Just says I've "already voted on this solution" :/)

Yes I did. I've tried with 4 and 8 pins CPU power. I've connected the power to the motherboard (24 pins). That's why the LED turns green on it and because I installed it in my old case, the standoffs where already installed. I've also connected the H7 CPU fan.

Even tho the H7 is pretty big, it does not touch anything else than the CPU (like its supposed to 😛). The CPU is covered with Thermal Paste that came with the H7. I only put Thermal paste on the CPU, like the H7 Manual told.

The Q-connector if thats what youre talking about.

Goes on top of the system panel connector. See page 1-30 of the manual.. The wires go into it and it goes on top of the pins on the system panel header

Well you dont need it just connect the front of the case wires to the right pins

I've connected 1 2 pin HDD_LED. 1 1 pin LED+. 1 1pin LED-. 1 2 pin Power SW, and 1 2 pin Reset SW. I've placed them in the slots that the manual tells me to. The rest (Chassis and such) is untouched.
