Z170 Vs. Z270

I'm currently debating whether to buy a Z170 motherboard with an i5(this is out of my budget but everything's on sale right now ). Or should I go with a nice Z270 with a pentium G4560? I currently own a GTX 1050ti. I was thinking of getting a Z270 to future proof my motherboard and eventually, when the pentium starts to become out of date, upgrade to a new intel CPU. What should I do? Also whenever I bought the next CPU I would get the K edition for OC

Go for the Z270, the Pentium's still have 1-2 years to spare, and you don't really need a much better CPU for now. Plus, the overclocked Intel-K's are beasts.

What should I do?

If you're on budget, I'd ditch OC feature and go for cheap B250 board + i5-7400,7500 or 7600 (depending on budget).

You have the Z270 Pro4, which is almost as cheap as some B250 boards and you can always upgrade your CPU later on to a K.
