No. Z170 boards only work with 6th an 7th gen. A 300 series board is needed for 8th and 9th gen.

Wow that is extremely inaccurate. It lists 10th gen which are socket 1200 and only work with the new 400 series chipset. You may want to find a better source of information, like from the manufacture.
