Question Z230 Mt Vs elitedesk 800 mt

Hi, would putting a larger PSU from an unused z230 workstation (HP DPS-410AB-1 (DPS-9 410) into an elitedesk 800 mt G5 to replace it's 250w be unadvisable or suicidal? (For GPU and CPU upgrades). Thanks in advance.

I'm going to say no. Those motherboards do not appear to share a power connector design.

Sadly OEM PCs from HP, Dell, Lenovo tend to use proprietary power supply connections.
