Hey folks!

I have the aforementioned MSI Z270 SLI Plus motherboard, and in the BIOS I have it set to boot PEG, 512MB memory for integrated, and multi-monitor is set to enabled. However, when I boot to Windows, the monitor hooked to the DVI-D port is blank and undetected by Windows. I know the monitor works, as I moved it from my GPU's DVI port to test. I called MSI and was told it's not possible, despite the option staring me in the face. What am I missing?

Edit: If it helps, I'm also using i5-7600K processor.

Well, it is definitely a feature of the motherboard. I've since come to determine that the likely issue is that my DVI port on my mobo is bum, which was what I was testing on. It is currently running a display from the mobo's HDMI fine, alongside the four monitors hooked up to the GPU. Looks like I'll need to talk to MSI about an RMA.

This I haven't tried, though might before RMAing. I can say for sure that the DVI does not provide signal for a fifth monitor, like the HDMI port does.
