Hi there,

Another new build no boot topic, surprise!

My gear is I5-7600 / Strix Z270E / Zotac GTX1080 Amp Extreme / 2 x 8 Hyperfury 2133MHz / Samsung EVO 250 M.2 / EVGA 750 EQ / be quite! 800 base / Noctua DH15

I've been trying to boot the computer for the last few hours, I've checked the RAMs position, the same with processor and thermal paste, the 8-pin power supply CPU is used, the front panel pins are as per motherboard spec, both motherboard supply cables are connected as well as both for GPU, I've tried running on one piece of RAM and with no custom GPU inside, I was worried that I got no proper standoff for the motherboard, but they seem to be built in.. I'm not using the CPU mounting tool added to the motherboard box.

When I turn the PC on, all fans run, the motherboard LED is orange, the graphic card lights up (green colour on the PCI-E status and the cosmetic lights).

Anyone has any idea?

Solution
GREEN is BOOT_DEVICE_LED. So your EVO is not connected properly. However, it should boot to BIOS anyway, even without SSD. Check SSD connection, also try booting without it.

When I turn the PC on it varies, but after about 10 seconds the green one - last looking from 24-pin perspective.

Thanks! Seems like the SSD was a bit loose *somehow* in the M.2 port. I'm still not able to boot with GPU on but I'll see to that when I install the system :)

Yep, good approach. Good to have iGPU :)
