Hello to everyone!

The title states it all, I have the Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 motherboard and the 970 EVO Plus NVME M.2 SSD.

When I go into NVME Configuration in the BIOS, it says “Bo NVME Device Found.”

But this drive is recognized in disk management and is incredibly fast. Does this mean it’s reading it as a SATA drive?

Here is what my board supports:

Storage Interface
Chipset:
2 x M.2 connectors (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 SATA and PCIe x4/x2 SSD support) (M2M_32G) (M2A_32G)
1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280 PCIe x4/x2 SSD support) (M2P_32G)
6 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors
Support for RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, and RAID 10
* Refer to "1-9 Internal Connectors," for the installation notices for the PCIEX4, M.2, and SATA connectors.
Intel® Optane™ Memory Ready

I thought I read some boards have an M.2 slot but they only read the drive as a standard SSD.

Any help would be great. I’ve flashed my bios as well. The only thing I haven’t done is move the 970 EVO to a different slot. But they are all the same thing and it is seated right because it reads in disk management. I currently boot Windows off of it and everything seems to be working great.
