I have bought HD3P mobo. Planning to buy 960 evo 250 gb. Does the board support nvme interface.

Yes it does. It has two M.2 connectors that support NVMe SSD's.

The M.2 socket will give you NVMe performance because the 960 EVO is an NVMe SSD. If you plugged in a SATA SSD, it would give you AHCI SATA3 speeds. The M.2 socket supports both protocols.
