About 2 weeks ago my gtx 1080 failed. When I turn on the power button of the PC, my PC immediately shuts down. I went over my friend's place and his PC does the same--the PC shuts down unless the card is removed from the motherboard.

I tried a different video card on my PC and still don't get video. That same card works on my friend's PC. I also have a small gt 730 that doesn't require any PSU pins, and still no video. If I move the video cable to intel onboard graphics, Windows works fine (HDMI, DP).
I've also tried DDU. Didn't work.

Whatever had happened to the pcie lane, it's probably responsible for frying my gtx 1080.

The PC works normally with integrated graphics. Is there anything left to do that could potentially fix this?
