Hello everyone - just built myself a new comp.

Gigabyte Aero Z690 G DDR4
12900K
3090
DOMINATOR 3600 (ISSUE IS HERE)
2x Sabrant 500gb Rocker 4 plus in raid 0 for boot.

So I got everything up and running, lightning fast all is great and I see my xmp profile option - slap her into profile 1 (3600mhz) and get DRAM red LED no post.

I look up Mobo specs and only supports 3200mhz of ddr4...... face palm so I set the ram to 3200mhz and... same error, also at 3000....

I'd prefer not to run this system w/ 32gb of 2100 lol

Any ideas?

Solution
Not to worry.
The ram support speed is the speed at which the motherboard will boot into the bios.
The higher speed is set in the bios. Normally, by selecting a XMP profile.
But, there are a number of ram settings available.
Possibly you need to specify what you want explicitly.
There is also the gear1/2 option which may not be set optimally by default.
Did you install in the proper slots?
Normally, 2 & 4.

Lastly, PLEASE abandon any thoughts of raid-0.
It is only faster in synthetic sequential tests and is counter productive elsewhere.
It will make no important difference in boot times or anything else. It will hurt in some situations.
Better to use sleep to ram anyway.
