Hi

I am not a gamer and do not urgently need a high-end graphics card. The on-board graphics card is basically enough for me.
I only need DP port and USB-C port for the monitors.

Most Z690 motherboards like ASUS Prime Z690-P or ASUS ROG Strix Z690-F Gaming have one (or more) USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C) ports.
Can I connect a monitor to this USB-C port ? Could not find anything anywhere regarding USB-C Alt Mode.

Regards

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Make and model of the display you're going to be working with?

If you look through both board's specifications page or their manuals;
https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1700/PRIME_Z690-P/E18811_PRIME_Z690-P_UM_PRINT.pdf
you'll see that there are only DisplayPort and HDMI mentioned in Graphics section, while the Type-C is mentioned in the USB field. Had the USB Type-C port been capable of video output as well, it would've been listed there.

I am using 2 x DELL U2722DE (Daisy Chain)

that's exactly what I saw in the manual. Unfortunately, there is no reference to the graphics capability of the USB-C port :(.
