ZALMAN CNPS9500A-LED on 1155 with no backplate

I was installing my ZALMAN CNPS9500A-LED when I noticed that I don't have a back plate for it at all. Would I be able to install it without a backplate, without damaging anything? I have an Asrock Extreme 3 Gen 3 mobo with an i5 2500k.

The manual only shows how to install on a 775, and it says to use the 775 backplate.

Everything fits and will work, I'm just worried about the mobo.

I bought it before 1155, thanks for telling me about the mounting kit. Would it work on 1155?

Edit: I just looked and it's out of stock, but would work for 1155. Should I install the heatsink without it?

I would ask Zalman customer support.

I am taring to attach this cooler on ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA115.
