hi guys i am going to get a new pc built and i am wondering which cooler offers the best performance. Price is not an issue. i cannot find anything on the internet which shows a direct comparison between these two coolers. Specs are as follows
i7 4790K
8GB G Skill Ripjaws X 1600
ASUS ROG Maximus VII Hero
AMD Radeon R9 270
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD
Corsair RM850 PSU
Zalman Z11 Plus HF1 Edition

I have no intention of overclocking at all. Also will either of these two coolers beable to fit inside the case. This is going to be a gaming pc, also it will be for typing up documents watching videos and general internet browsing. It wont be doing any rendering video or photo editing or anything like that.
Thank you

Solution
CNPS9900A LED.

Reasons:
1. Center fan on the 12X is semi-permanently attached to the heatsink body. If the fan goes bad, there is no way to replace it.
2. If you ever opt for 2011 socket motherboards that has 4 memory slots on each side of the CPU, the cooler will be too big unless you get low profile memory. Ripjaws will interfere as well.
3. 12X uses aluminum. 9900A uses copper.

12X will be way way quieter than 9900A, but the case fans and vid card will overwhelm the noise.
