HELLO.

I once bought new computer case Zalman Z7neo .
Now I want to upgrade a little bit my set up and I have a question ... but in beginning told you what set i have atm.

Case: ZALMAN Z7 NEO
CPU: I7 12700K (socket LGA 1700)
GPU: nvidia RTX 3070 8GB
RAM : A-DATA (XPG RBX) ---> I don't know what exact model it is
Motherboard: GIGABYTE B660M AORUS ELITE AX DDR4

My question is: I want to replace the CPU cooler for AIO RGB, and I would like to know what kind of radiator will fit on the top of the case (what thickness of the radiator with fans will fit there) ?

From what I found out, RGB RAM are higher than standard ones, and before I order anything, I would like to be 100% sure what AIO cooling can be mounted on the top of this case without any major problems?

My first thought is: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 240 A-RGB (but I read that it may be a problem to mount it at the top because it is thick radiator with fans 63 mm/2.5 ich)
Second is : CoolerMaster MasterLiquid ML240L RGB V2 (radiator with fans 52mm/2.02 inch).
Or you maybe recommend some other AIO cooling for my components ???
I'm asking for help, I've been looking everywhere and I haven't found a clear answer 🙁
And if you need more information, let me know !!!

THANK YOU

I'm not all sure that a 240 AIO would be enough so might as well go to a 360 with radiator in the front where id best place for cooling CPU because that way it receives cooler air from outside,

I don't want to be rude, but if I wanted to install cooling in the front, I wouldn't start this topic.

You'll have to measure the clearance yourself, or contact Zalman(perhaps they can check for you). Some don't bother to ensure compatibility beyond their own coolers or the typical radiator(27-30mm) and fan(25mm) depth.

Partpicker's completed builds list can sometimes come in handy for this, but all the Z7s with AIOs posted were standard size.

How was anybody able to know you are so adamant for top mount ? Anyway , Arctic LF III radiators are 3-6mm thicker than most. It's 38mm thick and fans standard 25mm. That's 63mm overall.

About case, this can be found about radiator placement
"Nevertheless, a few details should be considered before buying all components. These include, for example, the ventilation of the system or the cooling of the CPU and graphics card. If you want to install e.g. a water cooling system, you should consider that there is very little space above the motherboard and if the motherboard is equipped with large coolers on the voltage converters (VRMs), or high or illuminated RAM modules are to be installed, these components would most likely make the placement of a radiator above the motherboard impossible. In our test setup it was only possible to mount a radiator and fans on top, because the mainboard had no VRM coolers and the RAM had only minimum height. The radiator was only mounted provisionally for demonstration purposes, which is why a CPU cooler can be seen in the following picture."
That's why I suggested front mount. All took about 5 minutes to find.
