After owning the G14 for almost a year, i have recently noticed that the temps are getting really hot and that its impacting the FPS in games.

I haved opened and cleand the G14, opened up bios to check the settings, and i have noticed that the temps are still crazy hot.

The fans are spinning at 3800RPM and the temps are reported at 96°c at 1200mV

Does anyone have any idea or tips on how to get the temps under control??

Which g14? 2022? 2023?

Not that it really matters, in balanced or turbo profile the CPU will always hit 96C during gaming. There are many ways to "fix" that. The easiest one without messing with registry and stuff is to install ghelper https://github.com/seerge/g-helper and remove the asus bloatware. Then from within ghelper you can power limit or temperature limit each individual profile so your CPU doesn't hit 96c. I have mine set to 85c for balanced and 90c for turbo, so now the CPU stays at 85c during gaming.
