I made my first build several weeks ago in the thermaltake core v21. The core v21 doesn't have much in the way of cable management and I used a horizontal mobo placement and did my best with a few zipties on the extremely long case IO connection cables and on the PSU cables to keep them tidy. I didn't really cut the ties flush with the locking mechanism... should this be a problem? The ends may be a bit jagged since I only had scissors but they're not nearby or scraping any components or poking other cables as far as I can see. Should I be fine? I should add some of the ties are a little hard to reach with cutters after I initially put them in so I'm a bit nervous messing with them any further.

Should be fine, would take a lot of moving/rubbing to be a problem. Id me more worried about leaking blood all over your parts from getting nicked lol. They can be quite sharp.
Haha that is true I’ve seen a lot of posts about getting sliced by a zip tie. Thanks for the reply!
