Since an update from about a week ago. I have not been able to get my friends
list to populate. I can play games (backgammon) and it shows me as logged in,
but the friends list wont load. Any ideas? Thanks

That happens often. You might wait it out.. If you think it's a
problem with the most recent install, delete these files:

All files in the \ZSetup folder, Zone.zat. Open Internet Properties,
General tab, Settings button, View Objects button. Right-click
ZoneIntro Class, click Properties. If it's listed as Damaged,
right-click, click Update to repair the ActiveX component. If it's
still listed as damaged, click Remove, and let it be reinstalled when
you reenter the Zone.

I tried all your suggestions and no luck. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Was the update a Windows or Zone update? A Windows update might have
changed the firewall settings. SP2 adds a new firewall and turns it on.

The update I was talking about was a zone update. There have been some
windows updates since the problem started, but the first time was a zone
update. I found a site http://mvps.org/nibblesnbits/EnterRooms.html and it
talks about norton firewalls and router firewalls. I will check that out
tonight.
