Hello i would like to ask if this gpu is compatible with my mobo ga-78lmt usb3 rev. 6.0

All i know is that the mobo is confirmed to run gtx 1050ti and gtx 1060, but these gpus are from 2016.Mobo posts in legacy bios with some hybrid uefi that i don't use and have disabled.

That board and gfx card should be 100% compatible with each other. In fact, the board should work with just about any PCIe x16 gfx card.

so modern gpus do not require uefi mobos? my legacy bios is award 2010 with the last update in 2014 and my current gpu r7 250 from 2012,gt 1030 came out in 2017.

Modern cards are UEFI/legacy BIOS compatible. I've only had one UEFI card that would not work with a legacy BIOS board, and I've had a lot of both. It was an Intel 775 socket board and an early R7-360 gfx card. I also have had your motherboard and have used several AMD and Nvidia UEFI cards in it with no issues.
