Zotac GTX 1060 6GB vs MSI GTX 1060 3GB?

Hi there, I'm planning to build a Ryzen 5 PC soon.

My current PC is an all-in-one PC from HP (stupid, I know, here's the spec: https://support.hp.com/id-en/document/c04711387). I mostly use it for video editing and some casual gaming and it's enough for me for the last 3 years. But it's running kinda slow now and I want to upgrade it.

I have around $700 budget and can stretch it for a bit more. Now the real question is it worth to get a Zotac GTX 1060 6GB for $65 more in my country or just stick with MSI GTX 1060 3GB?

What's the difference between those two brands besides memory? Are they just names or MSI actually work more efficiently?
And which one is more durable/futureproof as only upgrade my PC every 3-5 years?

Both Zotac and MSI are pretty good brands and their cards performances are pretty robust. MSI cards have a little better cooling but that said, I have been using Zotac cards for 7 yrs now without any issues.
Between the 6gb and 3gb, there is not a very significant difference. Yes, the 6gb is more powerful and will give you better performance in all games but not by a huge margin albeit... http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1060-6GB-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1060-3GB/3639vs3646 If you check the FPS deltas by scrolling down, you will also get an idea how it varies from game to game.
Having said that, I would pick the 6gb anyday if the budget permits. Or else i would not be too disappointed with the 3gb version.

For your usage, I'd save the money and get the 3gb 1060. In real world use the only difference is ram hungry games might have to run on slightly lower settings with 3gb vram instead of 6gb vram. Since you are a 'casual' gamer, you do not need to run at the highest settings all the time.
