Hello!

Zotac has a series of videocards called "Synergy Edition". On their webpage it says "ZOTAC GeForce Synergy Edition graphics cards represent uncompromised performance at more affordable price points."

Does anyone know exactly what that means? Since it says "affordable", should I expect lower performance, higher temperature, or more noise than reference cards?

I was thinking about getting a GTX 570. If I get the Synergy edition, would that not perform as good as a standard reference 570 card?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm not finding any Synergy Edition's from Zotac.

What price is that Zotac GTX570 your interested in?

What are your full system specs?(CPU,RAM,etc.)

What is the make/model of your PSU?

EDIT: Actually just found one. From looking at the clock speeds, they look the same as any other GTX570.Don't see anything abnormal about it.My assumption is that it's a reference design and reference designs are usually cheaper.

This is the website: http://www.zotac.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=321&Itemid=617

It seems to be priced about the same as other 570's, even a little higher (2.595 norwegian kroner, which is the same as 462 US Dollars)

My plan is to get a new pc with these specs:

Motherboard: ASUS P8P67 PRO B3
i5-2500K Processor
PSU: orsair TX V2 650W PSU ATX 12V V2.3, 80 Plus Bronze, Standard.
RAM: Kingston ValueR. DDR3 1333MHz 8GB

Well, Norway is an expensive country, so relative to other component prices it's actually not too bad.

Here is some info on the psu, don't know if it's any help: http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=623444&CKS=PCW#extra

Yeah, it seems I missed a letter there :) Glad to know it's sufficient for the build.
