Zotac vs Gigabyte - Which is the better GTX 970?

Hi I have the option to get either an Zotac GTX 970 AMP! Extreme Core Edition or GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming. I was wondering if any of you guys could share any input or experience you have with these cards. I'm not planning to overclock but I would like raw performance, low temperatures and quietness. Thanks!

Nvidia makes all of the GTX 970 GPU's. They also make all reference card based GPU's

Some companies them design and build their own boards. This allows them to differentiate their designs from other companies. But in tbhe end, most video cards are very similar to everyone else's video cards.

In the end, we really do not know much about the various video cards. So what I tend to do is go to a site that allows buyers of a product to post reviews of those items. And most sites use a 5 star/egg scale, so I look for at a minimum 4 stars/eggs. 4.5 is spectacular. 4.7 is amazing. Anything below 4.0 probably has problems that you want to avoid.
