Zowie EC1-A random button actions

So I've had my zowie ec1-a for about 10 months (Got it when it first came out). And I love it. Although randomly the mouse will trigger mouse buttons to be actuated without me touching them. From what I can tell the only buttons affected are the Scroll Up and the Top side button (button 5). This is annoying when playing games and affects web browsing as well. I wonder if anyone else has had this issue before and if it can be resolved.

Xubuntu 15.10 w/ Dual boot of Windows 8.1 (Error occurs on both OSs)

It's a cheap chinese mouse, what did you expect would happen? Just stick to real peripheral companies and you won't have to worry about wear
