Question Zowie monitor bought Sep 2023, started to develop very very faint vertical lines that run from top to the very bottom even over taskbar.

Hi, I have just started to noticed there thread like vertical lines that run down my monitor, at first I thought it could be screen burn of some kind, however the line also goes down and over the task bar which is never hidden. On a mid grey background they appear slightly greenish. Some of the lines stand out more on different coloured background for example one line in particular is very prominent on Royal blue, but can't be seen on Green, meanwhile two lines show on the green background but not as visible on the blue. We are talking very faint and very fine lines.

I'm gonna offer more info on this as it's very confusing.

I use the monitor for both my PC and works Laptop and the lines are visible on both connections.

PC DP to monitor DP and Laptop USBC to Monitor HDMI and i select which one i want to use with button at the back.

When I select connection number 3 which doesn't have an input, I get the blue screen with no input found and the lines are not visible at all.

When i return to either of the 2 inputs I use and put a background identical to the blue screen with no input found, I see the lines.

So it appears it's not an issue with the screen, as I'd see them even when on the no input found screen. But I cant figure out what it could be if I get it with both devices and different connections.

Well it could be the circuitry that is responsible for the inputs, or the one that shows stuff on screen, or anything in between.

I dont know if it help much but they appear to be greenish in colour and as mentioned very very thin lines almost unnoticeable on certain coloured backgrounds.
