Here is a recent one of mine. (beer can for size comparison)

70% PLA, 30% wood fiber.

Something the size of a motherboard, that looks a little like a motherboard, yes.
A functioning motherboard? No.

Draft print for a control panel in the new car:

3mm thick black, pause, switch to white, finish.

There is a tradition between Jeep owners of getting "ducked".
Someone will leave a small rubber duck on their Jeep.

A guy in my office recently bought a 4dr Jeep Wrangler.
White body, with black top.

He gets this on Monday...

Fixing a busted screwdriver.

Original handle, broken.
Held together with duct tape for years.
Break all the old off.
Print a new one.

Perfect pressfit.

Conceptually, you're close with that one.

And the other wrong one, WAY off.

The left 3 are correct.

The other ones...
1 was strictly in the US, the other 2 could have been anywhere. But mine were in fact in Europe.

It is in fact an F-106.
Griffiss AFB NY, 1978-1980, 49 FIS.

One of those jets is known as the "Cornfield Bomber"

That jet (58-0787) currently sits in the USAF museum at Wright-Patterson AFB OH.

Those prints were all generated from the line drawings, like this:

Hand traced in Rhino3D, built up into a solid, little bit of cleanup, then off to the printer.
Printed in Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU).

Waterproof, UV/chemical/heat resistant, flexible.
Perfect for this use, but a PITA to print with.

120mm top to bottom, 5mm thick

Nicely done. Very accurate. Reminds me of the old aircraft/vehicle playing cards with silhouettes on them.
