i currently have a 1080p 27inch ips monitor at 100hz, its great for editing but honestly i never noticed this "greatness" feeling until i moved up from my 22inch ips monitor at 75hz, i love this new screen for video editing, so roomy!

my issue is that my eyes, even as im typing this post, hurts as the text isn't big or sharp enough, its hard focusing on the pixelated text and moving further away sure makes it seem less pixelated, but now the text is just smaller.
i do read a lot, articles, adding subtitles to the videos i make, all this reading and copying small text is annoying.

i tried using my 22inch for a few days again and even now it feels alright, anyway... i want to get a 180hz monitor for a boost in games, will that be sensible or should i just get a 2k 27inch, a whole new pc or at least new gpu to compensate with that? the 180hz monitor is cheap, will i miss 27inch video editing or will i be fine? this pixelated text is slowly burning my eyes down.
