Stardew Valley is a place that is full of joyous occasions in every season. In fact there are two festivals each season to help you celebrate the life that can only be found living in a small farming town. One of these such festivals is the Egg Hunt Festival which happens on the 13th of every Spring. This festival is based on Easter which is the typical spring festival in many countries. In the festival you have to collect a certain amount of eggs before the timer expires and doing that is no easy fear. Lucky for you we have compiled a guide to help you get through this.

So the way that this festival works is that you have to get 9 or more eggs before your timer runs out. Therefore there are a few things that you need to keep an eye out for. The first and foremost is the timer. If you see that the timer is counting down and yet you can’t find any eggs then you should leave that area and move to another one. The second thing that you need to be careful about is your energy. Your energy will still go down while you are taking part in the Egg Hunt as you are picking up objects. If your energy falls to zero you will fall unconscious and be returned to your house. You will also get charged for bringing you back to your home so it might be wise to keep some food on you just in case.
1.This part is the most important. Here you will know the optimal path to follow so that you can get as many eggs in the least amount of time. The first thing you should do, after talking to the mayor is to head left of the town square. There is one egg there that you can get immediately.
2.After getting that egg, you should head down and then left, going past the cemetery. Make sure to pick up all the eggs that you see along the way. Once you get to the bridge that leads to the Museum you should have nine eggs.
3.If for some reason you missed some or someone else picked them up before you, you should head up as there are a lot of eggs up next to the houses as well. Speed is key in this as the timer runs out really quickly so you need to keep moving.
4.There is no reason for you to stop and look around, if you don’t see an egg on the screen then move on. Don’t waste your time looking as that will only eat away at the little time you have.
A few things to note about this festival are the timing of the festival and the rewards. The festival starts at 10 am and you cannot enter the festival ground before that. If you try to do that the game gives you a message that the festival is being set up but don’t forget that this festival is completely miss-able. If you arrive later than 2 pm you will have missed the festival. The first reward you get is a Straw Hat which is pretty useless but every time you win the festival after that you get a 1000g which is pretty great.
