Hello, so bought my first rgb lights today and got home a put them in only to find they don't turn on, instead they have small red dim lights and that's about it. The lights are game max ones and my motherboard is the g1 sniper b7.

So upgrading my PC this week and Im stuck. Do I get the i5 or the i3? I have currently have an i3 7300, so will I have update the bios for either of these cpus? Also which one would be better for gaming? Thanks.
