Which do I get for high end gaming/video editing. I7-6700k or i76850k I have a msi x99 g1 mobo

Was hoping you guys could hit me with some PC Build that can handle true 4k Gaming. I dont really want to just buy a pre build unless anyone can link me with a verified pre build system. My budget is around £1300 Dont need a monitor Obviously needs to be upgradable. Look forward to any help...

I have a great monitor only 3-4 months olds. Also i have everything else including a GTX 980 Ti so i wont be needing a GPU

I have 48GB of really old DDR3 ram, if i upgraded this ram would i notice a speed\performance increase? if so any suggestions? Dont get me wrong i love the x5660 it has served me well and still does.

Can i only use Xeon Cpus? to me these arent vastly different. But yet they are all supremely expensive. isnt the i7 4790k hugely superior but yet its only £260???

Hi all i have the above mobo currently with a xeon x5660. whats the best CPU I can upgrade for this board?

I currently have a xeon x something, i currently can run any game. But i would say the Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz is out performed by the i7 4790k significantly

Only problem is i dont trust myself to assemble this myself. But definitly will keep this in mind. way better storage. :)

Hi all, just needed some help with this system was going to go for the new X99 & Haswell E range but apparently this processor is still better. is is worth it? and will it last some years before i have to upgrade? Probably more for gaming but i do very much enjoy video editing. No 3d animation...
