    NAS advice setup

Hi, Looking for some advice on home storage I am planning. I require storage that is accessible across my home network to multiple devices - Phones, Laptops, Main PC, Secondary PC & HTPC. All android/windows/linux devices. All sounds easy enough so far - just set up a NAS on a 1gb ethernet -...

    R9 290+I5 Build (£800).. recommendations before I buy?

Okay. I've ditched the i5 4440 & CPU Cooler and going for an i5 4590. I've also opted for the newer Fractal Core 1100 instead. I'm hoping cooling won't be a problem - but I guess if it turns out that it is then I can always look at my options later.

    R9 290+I5 Build (£800).. recommendations before I buy?

Thanks for the responses! Already got HDDs for my secondary one, so just an SSD needed for this. I would have liked to have gone for the i5 4460 but unfortunately eBuyer don't have it available for late cut off timed stock. :( With regards to the PSU, I've read only good things about Be...

    R9 290+I5 Build (£800).. recommendations before I buy?

Hey, Looking at purchasing this build - budget is between £750 & £800 (monitor req, no OS) and this is what I've got so far. The build is for general web browsing/heavy gaming - WoW, Skyrim, Batman Arkham Series & some FPS (not competitive). Any ideas to throw in before I click ahead and buy...

$6.000 PC BUILD. Many Inquiries! Final Say!

There's absolutely nothing wrong with spending 6K on one PC and all it's peripherals, but you really need to do your homework and spend the money in the right places. The build you were looking at getting is absolutely ridiculous and you're wasting so much potential by over spending on your...

Hi guys I'm new to PC gaming and want a gaming pc that can play 1080p 60fps on most games for £400 (about $620) could you gu

Do you need an operating system? Trying to fit an operating system into any budget build is not fun. I'd look at transferring the one you already have across if that's at all possible. For example, without having to fork out £50-£70 for an OS you could get something like this - CPU - Arma is...

Advice required picking out a PSU

Hey, Need some help to pick out a PSU for a H81 mobo running a GTX 750TI & an i5 4430. Running 1 SSD and 1 HDD. I can't spend any more than £50.. I'd prefer under £40. I'm not sure what wattage I need really. Obviously I won't be over-clocking with that set up, the i5 isn't too power hungry...

    Good Pc for £300

A few things to note.. I would drop to 4GB ram, if you're not playing in Ultra then you'll be ok. Need to know as well though if you're running in 720p or 1080p? That'll save you £20-£25. I'd also not bother with a 1TB drive. 320GB is sufficient for a handful of games, that will save you...

Is this pc worth 1.8k for Nxt Gen?

You don't need 7+ case fans for a GTX 770. It's up to you on the peripherals/GPU cost but I'd personally be more inclined to half the cost of the peripherals and put that towards a better GPU, you should be able to get a GTX 780/R9 290 then. Same goes for your RAM, you're better off sticking...

I don't want to ask something, I just want to start a conversation?

Hey, So it's occurred to me whilst browsing on this forum that nearly all threads are someone asking for advice, there's even the "Ask a community" button when you go to write a post. But.. I don't always want to ask a question, just spark up a conversation about a certain subject. So if it's...

    GTX 780 vs GTX 880

The 880 will not be released in March. More likely to be towards the end of 2014 at the earliest.

    8800 GTX Performance

My system is almost similarly specced to yours, albeit a little less. Dual Core 2.66Ghz and 8600 GTS. I can play CS:GO at mid to low settings with 60FPS, so Source you should be able to go a lot higher on the graphics with yours.. Minecraft runs alright on mine, but struggles a bit on larger...

    R9 280X prices

Aye, it's getting a bit stupid now. I was planning on purchasing an R9 280X myself but I just don't feel right doing so considering they're costing 100$ more than they originally came out for. Will most likely go for a GTX 770 or wait it out for a couple of months and see what the market is...

What good graphics cards to use for an entry-level power supply

You should be able to get away with one of the earlier GTX 600 series cards. The 650 etc. If not then one of the GT series.
