get 2400mhz ram, preferable 2 sticks (dual-channel). playing on 720p will be fine, however, 1080p will get tricky (you need to find the sweet spot for yourself). in order to achieve a better gameplay at 1080p, you need to change both CPU and GPU to atleast intel i5 + rx470 4gb.

its simple; any i5 cant offer what youre trying to achieve with the 1080ti at any resolution from 720p to 4k

do you experience better screen refresh with the r7 260 in another PC? did you do a clean driver swap?

what about the XFX rx460 core edition? single slot black/red

what do you mean? fps or smooth rendering? I experience this with gtx960 vs gtx1050ti (both same fps) - gtx960 runs smooth whereas 1050ti runs very sluggish.
