    Question PC Restarts While Gaming

Sorry to hear that. My fix was indeed the power supply. I went from a 550W to a 750W. I was told 550 would be enough and that it probably isn’t the PSU but installing the new one fixed my issue. It may have gone bad. Have you tried a new PSU?

    [SOLVED] High CPU Temps

That makes sense, it is only stock. Alrighty, I’ll give it a fresh Windows install and see if the restarts persist. Thanks for the info, I’ll mark one of your replies as answer.

    [SOLVED] High CPU Temps

That's all well and good, and I understand that process, but for whatever reason my PC is not handling the "boosts to max rated clock, then pulls back as the core gets warm" aspect. I'm not sure if that's the CPU, CPU cooler, or motherboard settings, but the temps are reaching high degrees and...

    [SOLVED] High CPU Temps

I will make sure to do a reinstall of Windows. Regarding the CPU, could you explain that point a little more? I seem to get relatively the same performance with a static value with lower temps and am not looking to overclock. If the temps are reaching 65-80C while fluctuating clock speed but...

    [SOLVED] High CPU Temps

My CPU ranges between 40-60C while idle and 60-80C while gaming. I've reseated and reapplied thermal paste several times and have good cable management in my case. Two case fans in the front, one in back, and one on top. I also get random restarts while gaming, not sure if this is linked to CPU...

    Question PC Restarts While Gaming

I didn't, but I had noticed that under my device manager, my GPU in the PCI slot wasn't being identified, so I downloaded the latest motherboard chipset drivers and I believe it fixed the issue. Even my CPU temps are lower than they were before. Probably should've checked that first thing after...

    Question PC Restarts While Gaming

I recently upgraded a few components of my PC, new motherboard, CPU, GPU. Now when I play some games the system will restart occasionally midgame without warning. CPU temps range from 65-80 which I know is high but that shouldn't be causing a restart at the temps as far as I know. Specs below...

Question Stock Air Cooler vs. Liquid Cooler

I've recently upgraded a few parts of my PC and was wondering if the stock air cooler that came with my new CPU is sufficient or if I should upgrade to an AIO cooler. Ryzen 5 3600 RTX 2070S

[SOLVED] Running 144hz on 1440p Monitor

Ah, I see. The only the other thing I would like to note and get your opinion on if possible is two monitors. I plan on using the 1440p as my main and gaming of course but would like to keep my old 1080p to the side. Will using both monitors cause any performance hits, or the fact that one would...

[SOLVED] Running 144hz on 1440p Monitor

I'm more than willing to play on lower than ultra or play with the settings to get solid performance. I believe the RAM has up to 2666MHz and it is 2x8gb. 32gb would be overkill, no? Also, how much does RAM speed affect performance? Would it be worth it to upgrade to a, say 3600MHz speed RAM?

[SOLVED] Running 144hz on 1440p Monitor

Looking to upgrade to a higher refresh rate/resolution monitor, been gaming at 60hz at 1080p for a couple years. I think my specs are sufficient but I wanted to double check before I purchase a monitor. Ryzen 5 3600 RTX 2070S 16GB RAM

    [SOLVED] Fix Water Damaged GPU

Is there any way I can fix my water damaged GPU? I spilled water on it while running, powering off the pc. I immediately took the card out, carefully got as much water as I could off, and left it to dry for a couple days. No longer works as intended showing extremely low resolution and green...
