It says that it'll be quad channel memory so there'll be 4 or 8 slots for memory. It's time to remove difference between laptop and desktop memory i think. otherwise socket 2011 mobos will be as large as 486 mobos i used with Tower cases in past. Also it's not indicated that it'll support USB...

Well if i were you, I'll change the order of the DDR3 memory. I had a pair of DDR2 memory in past and they work in one order, don't work in reverse order. Also you can get an exact information by using a POST test card.

Yes i hate wires too but i also hate to power the adapter that's plugged to TV. Is there a way to put the receiver into the TV or is there a way to get power from scart or HDMI? That will be better i think.

The main problem here is the chipset i think. You're making a 8W CPU and sell it with a chipset which consumes more than 30W. actually core i3 will be the "celeron" of next year. i think they'll come with on board CPU like atoms. if your friend think that core 2 is enough for his work he might buy core i5 cpu with base model. Before the end of this year core i5 mobos will be less than $100. So waiting for core i3 will...

My question is "will there be a chipset made by Nvidia for 1366 socket or 1156 socket intel cpus?" Cause Nvidia is making good chipsets with both on-board VGA for mainstream and upper mainstream cpus.

There was a bios in the past when i use my 386. it's also can boot about 1 second :) I think booting in 1 sec is not a big deal. Let's wait and see.

well, picking a graphics card will be harder in future. We start to check the computing performance and i think this computing performance will vary between different CPUs, Mobos or something. I think i'll miss the times that a graphics card just make graphics :)

Well there's no plan told here about i3s. Will intel make a core i3 CPU with 2 cores / 4 threads? I think this will be the most power efficient CPU. Also will intel make i3 CPU for 775? I think we can't get the whole picture until intel sell i3 CPUs on the market.
