You didn't do well. What windows did you have before you used the "Rescue" option on win10USB? What specifications does the laptop have? Does it have SSD or HDD? If it has a HDD, then that explains why nothing appears on the screen.

If Speed & Duplex is set to Auto Negotiation, try setting it to 100 mbps Full Duplex, restart computer and try a speed test.

Check in Device Manager -> Network Adapters -> You're LAN card -> Properties -> Advanced -> Speed & Duplex

Please post full system specification.

Have you tried reinstalling the video and audio drivers? Set the GPU only on the GT 720M? how about CPU usage, it is 100%?

is your image file made from a original windows XP cd or it's downloaded from a site?

But did you try with another computer? That way we can know if it's the GPU or something else in your system.

Have you made any changes in the bios? try in reset bios to default settings.

Have you recently installed any bios updates or drivers for graphic card? did you try to clean it like logainofhades suggested?
