    4770K temps AGAIN

Well, they were better for a while. 70 C on load (still high), now hitting those 90s again. I have had issues with not being able to even boot past 4.2 without hitting 1.4 volts, but am perfectly stable at 4.1 at 1.225. Don't get it. Now, under load at 4.1, here is what I get: Now this makes...

    Replacement GPU heat

I noticed that the BIOS was different for each card, so I flashed the new card's to the newest BIOS (my old card's BIOS). No help. Can't wait for my 970 to come tomorrow. My worry is selling it. Not interested in sending it back AGAIN.

    Replacement GPU heat

Wait a moment - I just noticed something. Not sure if this is a false reading or not, but GPU-Z shows that the good card (@100% fan speed) is at 3000ish RPM. The new card seems to be at 100% as well, but at 1000 RPM. It goes up a little bit when I lower fan speed for some reason. Seems like a...

    My CPU is to hot!

Sly is right. I now remember how my 760k was. I believe that the temperature shown is from max temperature. When load went up, my temperature went down, meaning that it was probably backwards. For bmacsys, I would note that it is rediculous if you were assuming I meant a custom loop, because an...

r9 290 making cpu too hot

Your airflow doesn't seem to happy with the extra heat being dissipated from the 290. Check and see if your case is hot on the inside. Take the side panel off and see if the temperatures change. If you can't get good enough airflow, you might just need to go with some watercooling in an intake...

    Replacement GPU heat

The fans were at 100% in all of my testing to rule out the fan. Nothing wierd. As for 17seconds' answer, that is an interesting idea. I will have to check and see. I don't recall seeing voltages much higher and I definitely think that a little more voyage would add such an immense amount of...

    My CPU is to hot!

50 C is very cool. Under what conditions? I wish I could stay low like that in stress tests.

Is this newegg gaming pc worth my money?

Never said you need anything like that. Highly against that. Notice I don't even have 16 GB. I only have an i7 because I do video editing and the MicroCenter near me had an amazing deal. I am just saying that if he is planning to upgrade in the future, he should probably start with maybe a...

    PS4 vs Gaming PC

Linus has a great video on this. I can summarize and give my own opinion: If you are planning on sitting on the couch and like the whole controller thing, a console would be more convenient. You have many more games on PC and it is much more upgradable. You can do so much more with a PC. The...

Is this newegg gaming pc worth my money?

Firstly, if you will have $300 more for upgrades, get an $800 or so pc instead in a few months. I would look more into the Newegg PC combos as they show you the actual prices and what you are getting. iBuyPower and the likes are just interested in saying it is a good deal when it isn't. As a...

    What's Wrong with my computer?

Battlefield 4 seems to be a little odd sometimes in terms of performance. If this is on Seige of Shanghai, this is normal. That map is terribly optimized. Maybe throughout updates, SLI has stopped wanting to cooperate. Make sure to disable power saving settings and check your usage for both GPUs...

    Which 970 should i get?

If you are more interested in performance, currently the Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming is the best, followed by the MSI GAMING, then Asus Strix. For your selection, the Zotac one would probably be the best. If you can get the last one cheaply, though, go with it.

    Question About GPU and PSU

Cannot find the specs of the case, but it would probably be big enough. The PSU would fit, my only concern would be the card. The wind force 270x is the longest 270x on the market right now. An MSI or ASUS one would do just fine. The gigabyte one could fit, I am about 80% sure, though. Good...
