From what you described, you are stable in Prime95. I won't change the cooling solution until the one you have fails.

    [SOLVED] i7-4790k 4.7Ghz

@tal_1_ It's stable enough (gaming I assume ... 4 hours a day?). Temperatures are high, but they within acceptable range, especially if it does not crash. We like lower temperatures because the lengthen the life of an integrated circuit. At this point if you only get 5 more years out of...

[SOLVED] Mostly new build, PSU clicks twice then nothing turns on ?

@xer 21 Kinda sounds like you have a short somewhere. Maybe a standoff where it shouldn't be or screw stuck under the motherboard. Let us know what happens with board out of the computer. Make sure you put it on a non conductive surface. If you still have an issue, it could be a defect in...

Question PC wont boot, i have to take out and put back in the bios battery?

I can't blame you for hanging on ... the 3570 is still an ok CPU. Good luck with the BIOS .. .maybe you repurpose some of the hardware.

Question PC wont boot, i have to take out and put back in the bios battery?

@Ja6on Removing the battery clears the BIOS settings. It sounds like you have an incompatible setting and that could be due to corrupted BIOS. You could try flashing a new BIOS and it might fix the problem (unless you have a damaged EEPROM in which case it might brick the computer). This...

[SOLVED] Using phone cable as ethernet works only with my laptop

@waloche If it's a real phoneline, then it is probably Cat 3 cable. Cat 3 (that is in good shape) can handle speeds upto 10Mbps. I would try to manually turn down the connection speed to 10 Mbps in your Ethernet properties and see if it will work. The biggest issue I have seen is that phone...

Question Random black screen and full speed fans while gaming.

@Quander22 Testing RAM I like memtest86, but that's just my opinion. Do let it run over night. Some people let memory test only run for an hour or 2 and that's not enough (especially for intermittent issues). GPU temperatures are normally from an on-die sensor. That's good, but if you...

Question Random black screen and full speed fans while gaming.

@Quander22 I agree that it is probably something to do with your GPU. In order, I suspect: Overheating ... possibly not the GPU chip, but somewhere else on the board. Do you have canned air? Give it a good cleaning. Dust can fill the fins of your heatsink pretty quickly. Maybe try running a...

[SOLVED] Stain on a dell screen

Hard to say ... if the warranty ends next week, then I would get a new one ... if you have another 6 months I would wait and see.

[SOLVED] Stain on a dell screen

That looks similar to the spot you get when you put pressure on an LCD screen. Since it is close to bezel, it could be an issue with that. Or it could be a defect in the screen. It could also be caused by EMF or a magnet.

    [SOLVED] Home WiFi connection problem

I'm starting to wonder if you have multiple issues. Slow speeds when using the WiFi router. I'm still inclined to think this is a configuration issue, but it could a broken router. When the router is in room 2 you get an orange indicator light. This is an indication of no connection to the...

    [SOLVED] Home WiFi connection problem

@yarrick12345 From your description, it certainly sounds like there is an issue with the WiFi router. I doubt that it is "broken", but instead I think there is something wrong with the configuration. You may want to do a factory reset on it and redo the settings. The WiFi router LED...
