[SOLVED] I managed to break off one of the pins for the power button!!

Yeah you know the two where you short them to start it, one of them broke off. From my understanding even if I don't have access to the pins I should be able to splice a pair of wires to the green(signal) and black one(doesn't matter which black)ground. it's not a fancy solution but it should...

Power button pins but I can still turn it on with a screw driver.

[SOLVED] I managed to break off one of the pins for the power button!!

I janked the power button sideways and I managed to break one of the pins and bend the other badly? Is there a possibility to add an ordinary momentary switch by splicing it to the green wire and the ground of the 24 pin cable? I have the required soldering equipment to do the job and plenty of...

Question I have a few questions about re-using old mining rig components for a pc build?

To provide power to the 24pin since the server psu has only 12v & ground

Question I have a few questions about re-using old mining rig components for a pc build?

I know the 8pin is physically bigger than the 6 although they both have the same number of 12v lines (3 each) but theoretically a high end 6pin cable (16awg with copper terminal pin) should put out 300w safely! Yes the 75w rating for the 6pin was done in 2004(22awg and brass pin terminals) back...

Question I have a few questions about re-using old mining rig components for a pc build?

I understand you didn't get the point here, yes two 6pin connectors 18(AWG) will safely provide 150watts but if upgraded to 14AWG it should easily handle over 300!! Because like I mentioned below 1/6 pin molex connector is capable of 11A max!

Question I have a few questions about re-using old mining rig components for a pc build?

Not neccessarily! To my understanding each pin of the 6pin Molex is rated at 11A which gives us around 168w!! How ever the 18-20AWG wire needs to be upgraded to14-15AWG. I have done similar upgrades in the past and soldering is no strange work to me!! Ps: I really appreciate you taking your...

Question I have a few questions about re-using old mining rig components for a pc build?

Well I could use a 2x 6pin pcie adapter to one 8pin atx

Question I have a few questions about re-using old mining rig components for a pc build?

Here it goes: I recently built a pc with spare parts from my mining rig(Server psu +PICO 120w) The pico doesn't have enaugh juice for my cpu. Is it safe to power the Cpu via a 6pin pcie to 8pin atx adapter directly from the server psu? Meaning the PIco is only going to provide power to the...

    [SOLVED] Regarding RTX 3090 cooling!

My intention is to watercool my rtx 3090 but the problem is I am forced to use Alphacool TPV 12.7/7.6mm fittings as those are the only ones that fit my tight case! Will the TPV 12.7/7.6mm tubing carry enaugh volume of water to suffice with cooling this card? I have been told to not go below...

Discussion Regarding Alphacool's TPV 12.7/7.6mm tubing

Also a big part why I need it to be so compact is that I can easily Transport it from Here(Germany) to my vacation destination in the Balkans. I have also designed a high Fidelity IPS display that is held on to the case by magnets, when you look at it from a far it would almost resembles one of...
