I you could spare a couple of tenners extra, I would go for the gtx 1050 (2gb). Don't know the pricing in your country, but you really get a lot more performance from that card. I think you'd have a pretty decent system then. :)

It sure sounds like the card is dead. Have you tried the other slot yet? Or even better, in a different pc? Did you perhaps accidentally touch the card (ungrounded) when installing the ssd?
