[SOLVED] Acronis True Image vs. Macrium Reflect for File Backups

Hi, I'm looking for file backup solution for my data and those two apps caught my attention. I want to backup to other disk(or network location) or OneDrive. I tested demo versions of both: Acronis: very simple, cheap and looks like "just works" approach. Macrium: same.. but GUI not so...

Question Small or mid sized AMD platform with USB-C header?

Hi, I want to build a small or mid sized AMD Ryzen 3000 series system with USB-C header. And I can't find a combination of HW to fit my needs and which won't cost arm and leg. Even back USB C connection is missing in non expensive B450 motherboards. So is there an only option for a small...

[SOLVED] How does ASUS Aura compatible RGB Hubs and Control Cards work?

Thanks @Paperdoc I think you answered my question pretty well. I mostly use ITX and mATX and those have just one RGB Header. So no other solution than to use a Hub or connect all RGB devices in parallel (as what I did at the moment). Just looked at more expensive ATX MB specs and I see many...

[SOLVED] How does ASUS Aura compatible RGB Hubs and Control Cards work?

Hi, My Asus MB has only 1x Aura RGB Header. Aura software sees only two RGB devices: Memory and MB Header. And I have 3 LED devices connected to MB Header (cpu fan, case fan and case RGB). I want to control all three (actually four - including RAM modules) individually. Does anybody have...

Hi, As this monitor will be mainly for browsing, document editing, homework,, photos and just light gaming - image quality is a priority. So I should go with IPS then. But what are resolution recommendations for 24" monitor? Do I understand correctly that at 24" full hd is more than enough? At...

[SOLVED] Ext 3.5" HDD always ON and connected to Raspberry Pi

Looks like answers to my questions are here: https://www.htpcguides.com/spin-down-and-manage-hard-drive-power-on-raspberry-pi/ Spin down can be management from Raspberry Pi. So it's not a HDD Case feature.

[SOLVED] Ext 3.5" HDD always ON and connected to Raspberry Pi

Hi, I'm building a simple NAS/Media_Center (Pi 4 + cheap 3.5" USB 3 case from AliExpress + 3TB WD Red). Pi4 will run Raspbian or OMV or LibreElec (not decided yet). I am planning to have it always ON. Let's assume nobody is going to kick the HDD case. Is it safe to leave it always ON? Can...

Asus F1A75-I Deluxe Windows 10 drivers

Thanks for your answer. I wrote in my original post that Asus drivers page doesn't have drivers since Windows 8. So no drivers for Windows 8.1 as well. Anyway.. Windows Creators update will be released next week. So I will do another clean install. I will see if all drivers will be installed...

Asus F1A75-I Deluxe Windows 10 drivers

Hi, I did a clean Windows 10 Pro installation and still have some components with exclamation [/code]marks in the Device Manager (I assume it's Bluetooth because I can't find it in the Device Manager). No drivers here: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/F1A75I_DELUXE/HelpDesk_Download/ (even...

Very bad Win 8 performance on Asus F1A75-I Deluxe

I don't agree with you. I just had some issues installing W8. But not because W8 is wrong. But I just didn't have enough competence and experience doing that. I have W8 in two home computers already. And I'm really satisfied with that. Really don't know why I shouldn't love that OS.
