You are going to have issues since thats a laptop your trying to upgrade. I dont think you will be able to upgrade it. I do have a Alienware M17xR4 with a 675m. It plays pretty much everything on high at 50+ fps.

Just build a similar computer to yours (should be on my profile). The Phantom 410 is very good. As for RAM I have 1600mhz Kingston HyperX that works well. Anything above 1600mhz isnt really worth it for gaming IMO.

You can. What matters the most is the components of your computer (mainly RAM, Processor and Graphics card). Also having a 32bit version of Windows 7 limits you to 4gb of RAM. This shouldnt be an issue now but I could see it becoming a problem later. Most would be putting 8GB of RAM in their system.

I think you should get a used / cheap new 360. Halo 4 is great and does have offline splitscreen.

I dont think that all GMG keys are steam - they do say what kind of DRM is present before you buy. From what I hear capsule isnt too bad, but its a hassle not having everything on the one login.

What did you buy it on? On digital distribution services such as Steam you will be able to download from the steam client on any computer.

Go with where your friends are. I have both a ps3 and 360 and would reccommend the 360. Online is much, much better. Especially having party chat across all games (ie you can be in group chat with friends playing different games). My ps3 is used as a blu ray player now. Also multiformat games...
