    Realtek audio issues

Hello, Not sure where to post this, so if this is in the wrong section - sorry. I've been having difficulties getting audio working on this motherboard (Gigabyte X470 Ultra Gaming), unless it's just Windows 10 causing the problem. However, sound works okay to a point using the headphone jack...

Whats the best method to split up multiple RGB fans on one header?

Okay, thanks for that I do have the manual still in the boxing for the mobo so I'll use that. I'll most likely go down the hub route and get fans that have the 4-pin design then go from there getting it all working correctly. Again, thanks!

Whats the best method to split up multiple RGB fans on one header?

Hey, Thanks for that very detailed explanation! It's been quite some time since I've messed with computers and rightly so I'm use to the old design so I'm still relatively new to these ones. The motherboard I have is the Gigabyte X470 Ultra Gaming. In terms of what fans I've not set myself on...

Is Corsair VS650 enough for this?

I remember someone telling me about the CX PSUs being bad, so I wouldn't advice going for that. But it's your call, having a decent PSU is always recommended least 80+ Gold or higher and enough wattage to cover all components, perhaps a little over for that nice headroom.

    Upgrade or wait

I'd say it's worth it if you need that extra power. I've not looked into their upcoming cards, so can't comment on them.

Buying a new pc, are these components decent?

You can always go for a smaller SSD something like 120 or 250GB have it as just the Windows drive, then use the HDD for storing your software, games etc.

Buying a new pc, are these components decent?

It all depends on what the PC will be used for, e.g. General (browsing the web, work like word processing, etc), Gaming, the list goes on. But one thing I'd highly recommend is using an SSD for Windows it's a brilliant investment for those fast loading times.

Whats the best method to split up multiple RGB fans on one header?

Hello, I've done some searching around and got mixed results some say use a splitter then have the fans connected to that and splitter connected to the mobo and people say use a hub to split fans up. So I don't know which is the best way to go about it, as I know my mobo only supports one RGB...

Keep pre-built or get refund and build my own?

I can always upgrade the gpu later on, the 1060 will do to start off with. Like later on look into the 1070 or even 1080 or whatever gpu has a reasonable price tag at the time. Thanks for the reply though.

Keep pre-built or get refund and build my own?

Got a full refund on the PC I brought, and have ordered all the parts for the custom build. I'd like to thank everyone that helped with this. :) It was much appreciated.

Keep pre-built or get refund and build my own?

Thanks for that, that totals to £1,056.12 which to me seems quite reasonable. Any recommendations on what paste to use on the CPU?

Keep pre-built or get refund and build my own?

So I've been doing some thinking on specs and I feel I may as well just go all out on hardware, no point in cutting back on stuff so here's what I put together (feel free to give opinions and whatnot) PCPartPicker part list: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/X8WBcY Price breakdown by merchant...

Keep pre-built or get refund and build my own?

I have 28 days to return it for a full refund, that aside, hard drives aren't a problem as I have a Samsung ssd that has windows 10 on it already and 2 tb wd for everything else. In terms of budget it can stretch wide but not wanting the best of the best just something that can cope with what I...
