My HDD has one or more bad sectors according to CrystalDiskInfo and HD Tune Pro. However, Windows did not detect any errors in the file system via Error Check.
These are the reported issues:

Micro Center diagnostic determined that the motherboard had failed, but without further information. They are in the process of replacing it.
My question is.. does this just happen or could it have been avoided? My mobo had been fine for a whole year. The only thing that I had done after...
I updated the original post with the power supply model.
I realize that I didn't try everything I could have, but I took it to Micro Center today for a diagnostic. That should take 3-5 days and they will cover any new parts needed since I had a warranty with them.
If nothing comes out of that...
My build is a year old (built in December 2020) and has been running fine until today. I tried to turn it on like usual and immediately realized that something was wrong since my keyboard was not lighting up and nothing showed on my screen.
All fans are running when it turns on, but the boot...
Other online speed tests are showing results between 600 and 700 Mbps for both download and upload. I'm guessing the Google's test uses a far away server (?).
Also, the cables aren't the best of the best, but this is fine for now.
I used iperf3 (hopefully correctly) to test bandwidth and the results were stellar on both machines. Both PCs were connected to the same router via Ethernet.
Here are the results from my PC (the one with the slower Internet speed test above). First, it was the server and then it was the client...
I finally got my PC hooked up to Ethernet to try to get something better than the awful Wi-Fi, but it seems as though my connection might be capped.
During the two tests below, the ONLY main difference was the computer that was connected. Everything else about the setup (Ethernet cables...
The battery in my HP Envy W2K71UA is almost 4 years old now and won't hold a charge. My laptop won't turn on if it's not plugged in, and having kept it plugged in all day yesterday, it still didn't charge past 1%.
HP's battery health check also indicated that the battery is in poor health (if...
Turns out the USB-C port does support file transfer, but the cable was loose. A new cable, and holding the end of the cable firmly in place, did the trick.
Thanks for sharing that. I initially tried to connect my phone with two different cables. The first connector would not stay in my PC and there was no connection. The connector on the second cable plugs in, but I only get power. The cable is definitely a data cable because I've used it with...
I was just testing out the USB-C port on my X570-Plus WiFi and when connected to my phone, there is no option for data storage and my phone does not show up as a media device like it usually does. This issue leads me to believe that the port is only delivering power, but not allowing for data...
