Question Audio only works on the left side after changing CPU

Update: It seems something with the rear audio ports is wrong. Plugged the headphones in the front panel jack and it works flawlessly. Somehow me changing the CPU made the rear audio ports malfunction. I am either very clumsy or very unlucky

Question Audio only works on the left side after changing CPU

So I've just swapped from a 5600 to a 5700X3D and the audio is only working on the left side of my headset. It is acting weird, if I go to balance settings and raise the right side level the sound in the left headphone goes up in volume even if I didn't touch the left side. I am using 7.1...

News Nvidia could be going all out to rival AMD's RX 7800 XT — retailer lists RTX 4070 Super in 12GB and 16GB variants

They kinda have to stick with AD104 and that only allows 192 bit bus. It's either gonna be a 12Gb GPU or they will somehow pull another GTX 970 or something

Question Can GPU sag make a computer not POST?

I 100% agree with you, however, the GPU had this issues since I got it. Literally the first time I installed into the PC, it would just boot loop unti I held it in some weird angle that made it work. After that, as long as you left it alone it would work fine. If you even slightly touched it...

Question Can GPU sag make a computer not POST?

I'm not gonna remove the tire to take a pic as to not mess things up the way they we're before But it was bad indeed, the corner of the GPU which was the lowest point was around the half mark of the toy tire.

Question Can GPU sag make a computer not POST?

It does post if you hold it up, you just need to get it right, takes a few tries. I have reseated ram but not the CPU, I think I ran out of thermal paste so I didn't do it. For what it's worth, the system worked fine with a 6600 before so... Also, I've found something around the house to...

Question Can GPU sag make a computer not POST?

I understand, I'll see what I'll do in the end. If it works fine supported by something then I might just keep it as is. I really don't want to go through the RMA process again. Thanks for your time!

Question Can GPU sag make a computer not POST?

Hi, thanks for the reply! A person on reddit suggested that it may be a faulty GPU, specifically bad solder joints causing the problems when sag was present. I really don't want to go through the RMA process again, this is a replacement card for my dead 6750XT. Do you think this is the case?

Question Can GPU sag make a computer not POST?

I want to ask this here as well. I recently got a Hellhound 7800XT and it has immense sag. I was gonna order a GPU bracket either way so I didn't pay attention to it. Then problems such as boot looping whenever you took the GPU out and placed it back in, followed by audio/video freeze whenever...

[SOLVED] System enters boot loop after reseating GPU, also video/audio freezes as soon as you slightly touch the GPU in the slot.

SOLVED: Looks like the problem was GPU sag, once I supported the weight of the GPU it works fine. I can't understand how sag can make the PC not post but still

[SOLVED] System enters boot loop after reseating GPU, also video/audio freezes as soon as you slightly touch the GPU in the slot.

How would I go about finding it and fixing it? Would it be a good idea to take the whole system apart and rebuild it back? While I'm there I can also clean it and cable manage it better

[SOLVED] System enters boot loop after reseating GPU, also video/audio freezes as soon as you slightly touch the GPU in the slot.

I've had some weird issues with my Hellhound 7800XT. System worked fine with an RX 6600 before. This is what happens with the 7800XT: First time I slotted it into the PC, or any time you take it out of the slot and you put it back in, once turned on the system bootloops without displaying an...

Question Should i consider changing this Gigabyte PSU ?

I have just checked my PSU, it's way newer than the 750s affected. Mine is SN21023G045906. Should I still think about changing it or this one is safe?

Question Should i consider changing this Gigabyte PSU ?

I tried to, here you have to reach to the third party (which in this case is a store similar to Newegg in the idea that it sells computer parts and prebuilds). They weren't aware that Gigabyte PSUs we're blowing up and asked me if mine is working. I told him that it is, it's just that it may not...
