I have a 5770 and found that putting it on high, AA disabled and put on FXAA to work the best. It averages from 40-60 fps.

Try turning shadows on low, i have 5770 and if i turn shadows to low i get 40-60 fps. Might be a bottle neck though for you as i have i5 2500.

Try turning shadows completely off that's what helped me. I went from bad stuttering 12fps to no stuttering 50+fps. I have ati 5770 btw

Ok i fixed it i just turned off shadows, and now im getting a good frame rate.

Well that's just the thing the new update was actually worse for me lol.

Another question, would i need any type of cooling i am not planning on 'oc' or will the 4850 fan be good enough? Im planning on getting the XFX 4850 if that makes a difference and is the XFX a good choice?
