whats the cheapest motherboard/ cpu combo i could run to get steady frames

so i am currently looking to upgrade my cpu i am currently running a AMD FX6300 with a gtx 950 GC i want to base this off of arma 3 thats what i mostly play and with this i cant get a steady frame rate drops down to 5. I would like to atleast run it at a steady 25-30 FPS and i will be happy what...

actually i have the evga precisionx and i watch that and it stays around 55 even during the game

i am not a 100% sure i think i checked it before it it jumped when it droped but i have 2 fans in the pc what else could i do

so i have what i thought was a decent pc build but it does not run games to its potential or very good at all i idk if its my cpu motherboard or what i am new at PC building so please work with me if this sounds funny but i notice in games i can barley run medium quality without the pc...

i am noticing im using aferburner and when these drops occur my cpu temp spikes to like 200 then falls to 60 when its over with does this help any?

ok im kind of a begginer is it easy to change a cpu . and i have a 420 watt insigna psu and temps seem to be OK..thanks for the response

So i have been having this issue i play Arma 3 and im pretty sure i have a decent pc build but even in multiplayer or singleplayer i get a crazy Lag drop down to at least 10fps that last for about 10 secs btu happens at least every 30sec-1min. if anyone could possibly know the cause of this...

There's still a crazy fps drop but not as often a little more Barrable but its prolly nothing

A setting called amd cool n quietsorry I reread that last one and it didn't make much sense lol

OK I may have found a solution I went into the biosand disable and quiet and cool things seem to be running better now is this gonna kill my cpu
